Youngstown police turn to public for help in downtown shooting case
The Youngstown Police Department hopes the public can help them identify a group of men they believe are connected to a downtown shooting.
According to police, the shooting happened just after midnight on Commerce Street in downtown Youngstown on August 21st, 2021.
Police say after an altercation, one of the men fired a gun several times at a moving vehicle. Police say the gun shots caused damage to several other vehicles and a business downtown. Police say, it's unclear if the targeted vehicle or the people inside the vehicle were struck.
Police have provided three photos of the suspects involved.

Police say, a monetary reward may be available for information which leads to the arrest and prosecution in the case.
