The NAACP of Youngstown and Mahoning County hosted a community resource fair and fundraiser event Saturday, October 2. 

The event was titled "Unifying Our Community-Building Strong Connections One Business at a Time." 

The event featured local vendors and community resources that are available to area residents to help build a stronger support network. 

The NAACP held to the event to address some of the issues within the Youngstown community, and with some of the you in the community. 

The NAACP has resources to specifically address issues within the African American community, including mental health resources and voting resources. 

The NAACP wants to remind Youngstown that the organization is still active, and will be planning more events in the future.
