YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A few hundred women, men, and children from across Ohio and Pennsylvania held signs as they marched to the Mahoning County Courthouse the organizer leading them chanting they say no choice, we say pro-choice.

They also chanted, "This is what democracy looks like."

"We are here today to send a message to our legislators, to say we support women's rights, and pregnant people's rights," said Mandy Fehlbaum who organized the march in the region.

Fehlbaum tells WFMJ News they are watching a case out of Mississippi that the new session of the U.S. Supreme Court will be hearing soon.

"Women have the constitutional right to privacy and for their private health care decisions to be made with their doctors, not legislators that don't know their particular health care issues," added Kim Powell.

"I believe the Texas law is over the top, and it will probably be reversed. I'm supporting women that's all," said Moe Ray.

A judge banned Ohio's similar heartbeat bill that bans abortions after a heartbeat can be detected.
The judge explained many women don't even know they are pregnant six weeks into pregnancy so it places an undue burden on women.

"I just feel like everybody should have the right to do with their own bodies. I think the prospect of people not allowing women to make that choice is ridiculous, added Jason Hafner.
