A 24-year-old Liberty Township man is sentenced to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to the robbery of the Mahoning Pharmacy, which netted him four bottles of numorphan valued at $10.
The A&P Tea Co. will close its Youngstown warehouse at Albert Street and Hubbard Road, shifting local operations to Cleveland.
1946: More than 20 war-relief agencies are dropped from the list of Youngstown Community Chest agencies, which will reduce the campaign goal by $200,000.
