YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Premier Bank presented a $30,000 check to Stambaugh Auditorium on Tuesday to help with the building's staircase and facade restoration project.

The goal of the project is to return the auditorium's monumental staircase as well as the grand entrance facade and promenade to its original splendor.

"The steps desperately needed to be repaired. There's thousands of individuals that come into Stambaugh Auditorium every year and we make wonderful memories through events, through concerts, through different things in the community, so I think it's giving, during difficult times, a really nice boost to the Mahoning Valley," said Joann Stock, Chief Development Officer for Stambaugh Auditorium.

Those involved say this check will move things along immensely.
