MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - All eastbound lanes near the Ohio Turnpike have reopened after a crash near MP 240.4 of the Ohio Turnpike in Mahoning County. All westbound lanes are now open after being closed due to the accident.

The Ohio Turnpike has tweeted that drivers will no longer be diverted off at Exit 232 (Youngstown/SR-7) as crews still attempt to reopen the westbound lane.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike tweeted that this accident is affecting Pennsylvania traffic as well. A detour is currently in effect near I-76 west at New Castle, Exit 10.

Drivers are instructed to take PA toll I-376 West to I-80 West (25 miles) and then take I-80 West to the Ohio Turnpike (Exit 128)

According to OSP's Hiram Post, there is a construction zone in the area, and the semi had gone across a jersey barrier at the construction site, causing the accident.

OSP also confirmed minor injuries had been sustained, but no serious injuries have been reported.
