More than 23,000 Sheetz employees eligible for larger tuition discounts

Gas Station, restaurant and convenience store chain, Sheetz has announced on Tuesday that it will now provide $5,250 per year to employees enrolled in the company's College Tuition Reimbursement program. Effective this semester.
This is a $3,750 increase from the amount previously offered by the chain to encourage employees to further their education and provide continued career development opportunities.
According to Sheetz's Vice President of Human Resources, Stephanie Doliveira, investing in their employees and personally and professionally is an important pillar for the company's culture.
"Through this tuition reimbursement investment, we hope to lighten the financial burden of attending college for our employees, while also encouraging to grow their career at Sheetz," Doliveira said.
Through the program, Sheetz partners with 27 different colleges and universities to arrange tuition discounts for employees. The chain also offers multiple scholarships to employees, their children and stepchildren through their scholarship program, The Big Joe Scholarship Fund.
Sheetz also offers competitive pay and benefit packages to employees including medical and dental insurance, a 401k retirement plan, quarterly bonuses, an employee stock ownership plan, vacation time and more.
