Newton Falls Chief of Police, Law Director placed on administrative leave
Newton Falls Law Director, Joseph Fritz along with Chief of Police, Gene Fixler have been placed on paid administrative leave on Wednesday.

NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - Newton Falls Law Director, Joseph Fritz along with Chief of Police, Gene Fixler have been placed on paid administrative leave on Wednesday.
This is according to a statement from the office of Newton Falls City Manager, Pamela S. Priddy.
According to letters from the Office of the City Manager, both Fritz and Fixler have been placed on paid leave for 30 days pending a full investigation from the Treasury Investment Board and the City of Newton Falls Police Department respectively.
21 News reached out to Fixler who told us he was prohibited from commenting to media.
