An investigator from the state fire marshal’s office is helping find out what caused a house fire in Trumbull County that injured one person.

The first firefighters to arrive at around 2:30 a.m. Friday at the 3800 block of Eagle Creek Road in Braceville reported flames coming from two sides of the two-story home.

One person was taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries firefighters describe as minor.  A dog died in the fire.

Fire departments from Ashtabula and Geauga counties were also called out to help put out the fire which started in the back of the home, causing damage throughout.
