The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will be holding a walking tour of historic Oak Hill Cemetery Sunday at 11a.m.

The walking tour will explore famous and underrated Mahoning Valley residents buried in the cemetery.

Participants will also learn different facts about the design, traditions and history of cemeteries.

"We're excited to bring it back this fall," said Frank Rulli, MVHS' History-To-Go Team chairperson. "With the availability of vaccines and protective measures, we feel comfortable providing this very popular walking tour out in nature and, by the way, a very beautiful setting within the city."

The tour runs from 11a.m. until 2:40p.m., with tours running every 20 minutes. Groups are limited to 20 participants, and the tour will begin at Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel.

The tour is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and free for children and toddlers.
