Youngstown police have arrested a woman after a shooting on an I-680 exit near Belle Vista around 3:50 a.m..

Youngstown Police say Vaira Lewis was taken into custody on charges of felonious assault after they found her giving first aid to a car passenger.

The passenger was taken to St. Elizabeth's for treatment and is in critical condition. Lewis was also treated for injuries before being sent to the Mahoning County Jail for booking. The investigation is still ongoing.
