YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The African American Wellness Agency (AAWA) will be holding its first annual financial wellness summit in Youngstown on Thursday, Nov. 4.

The summit will be held at Byzantine Center at the Grove (3801, Shady Run Rd. Youngstown) at 5:30 p.m. and will be focused around building generational wealth, home ownership, money management and more.

LaRese Purnell, founder and CEO of Cleveland Black Box Fix, The Real Black Friday and Co-Owner Managing Partner of CLE Consulting Firm in Cleveland will be the keynote speaker.

The networking event will include a panel of guests, as well as free financial wellness screenings. The event is free and open to the public. Masks and social distancing will be required.
