East Liverpool schools offer counseling after student passes away

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - A beloved East Liverpool student has passed away.
Kaden Davis passed away as a result of complications from muscular dystrophy.
Davis was the manager for the Potter football, baseball and basketball teams and continued to contribute to East Liverpool athletics and in the classroom as much as possible during his sophomore year.
The district had a two-hour delay Thursday with staff and counselors on hand for students.
The school will offer counseling and bereavement support services to all students and staff during this time.
The district says they will continue to release details and provide resources to those in need on their website.
