The Youngstown Police Department hopes the public can help them find a man they say is connected to a downtown shooting.

Police are looking for 24 year-old Romero J. Davis.

Davis is charged with two counts of felonious assault, one count of possessing a weapon under disability and one count of discharging a firearm upon/over a roadway.

The charges stem from an incident that happened just after midnight on Commerce Street in downtown Youngstown on August 21st, 2021.

Police say after an altercation, Davis allegedly fired a gun several times at a moving vehicle. Police say the gun shots caused damage to several other vehicles and a business downtown. Police say, it's unclear if the targeted vehicle or the people inside the vehicle were struck.

In October, police provided photos to the public of the suspects involved. At this time, it appears only Davis has been charged.

Anyone with any information on Davis's whereabouts can contact the US marshal Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-86833) or the Youngstown Police Department at 330-742-8950.
