WASHINGTON -  A woman from Lawrence County awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to a federal charge related to her involvement with the riot at the United States Capitol on January 6.

According to court records, Julia Jeanette Sizer of Ellwood City, PA pleaded guilty earlier this month to one count of Parading, Demonstrating, Picketing, in a Capitol Building.

Sizer signed a document admitting that during the January 6 intrusion into the U.S. Capitol, she recorded video on her mobile phone as she and others entered through the Capitol's Parliamentarian Door without permission, which had already been breached by other rioters shouting "USA! USA!"

Sizer's video shows scores of rioters who had overwhelmed law enforcement o the west side of the Capitol and the sounds of alarms blared in the background, according to the document.

CCTV shows Sizer, wearing a Trump cap and holding a cell phone, leaving the building about two minutes after she entered.

Under Sizer’s plea agreement, other charges will be dropped. She faces a maximum of six months in prison and a fine of $5,000.

Sentencing is scheduled for February 1, 2022.

Sizer is one of nearly 700 pro-Trump demonstrators who breached the Capitol while Congress was certifying the results of the 2020 election, seeking to overthrow the results.

Four other people from the Valley face charges in connection with the Capitol riot.
