Several people are safe after a fire broke out at a home along Hilton Avenue on Youngstown's South Side early Saturday morning.
Flames were reported at the house just before 2 a.m. and multiple fire engines arrived on the scene to put them out shortly after.
Crews on the scene told 21 News that there was a space heater running inside the home at the time the fire began. It is too early into the investigation for them to decide if the artificial heater was actually responsible for starting the flames.
No one inside of the home was hurt in the incident.
