YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Less than a week after city officials put a public call out searching for the perfect downtown Christmas tree....one has been donated.

City officials announced Monday that the Blue Spruce has been donated by John Martinez from his home on Schenley Avenue.

Diamond Steel Construction will volunteer their time and equipment to help the city relocate the tree. City officials say the Christmas tree is scheduled to arrive in the downtown square this Friday.
