Greenville man dies after three vehicle accident on I-79 in Pennsylvania

A Greenville man died after a three vehicle accident on I-79 North in Butler County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon.
Harry Hibbard, 58, was killed after a vehicle in the southbound lane crossed the center median and hit him head-on, according to a public record. Pennsylvania State Police said this caused both vehicles to collide into a third.
The driver of the vehicle that crashed into Hibbard's was life flighted to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. First responders suspected that he had sustained serious injuries. Another passenger in the first vehicle is reported to have possible injuries and had been taken to UPMC Jameson.
The driver of the third vehicle was from Brooklyn, New York and only had possible minor injuries. He was treated by Harmony EMS at the scene.
No charges have been pressed against any of the surviving drivers.
