YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown City School District has announced they will not hold classes on Monday, November 22nd or Tuesday, November 23rd.

The closure comes as the school sees a significant number of students in quarantine due to COVID-19, in addition to other absences.

Another contributor is the ongoing substitute shortage in the area.

Classes will resume on Monday, November 29th after Thanksgiving Break.

During the closure, all district buildings will undergo deep cleaning.
