Many retailers are reversing trends of the recent past by deciding to stay closed on Thanksgiving this year.

However, some stores will be open on the holiday for shoppers who need some last-minute items or parts for unexpected repairs.

21 News has compiled the following list of stores that plan Thanksgiving Day hours.

Big Lots – Open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

CVS - Stores open Thanksgiving Day, Pharmacy hours may vary

Dollar General - Open Thanksgiving Day, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Family Dollar - Open Thanksgiving Day

Meijer- Open Thanksgiving Day. Stores 6 am to 5 p.m.

Rite Aid - Open Thanksgiving Day

Walgreens – Most stores open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 24-hour Walgreen’s locations and 24-hour pharmacies will continue to remain open. Customers are encouraged to check their local store and pharmacy hours using the Walgreens store locator.
