Oral arguments on the three lawsuits challenging the new maps come after months of committee hearings and legal filings.
There is no specific deadline by which the court must make a decision, however, the filing deadline for candidates in the May 2022 election is March 4.
That's when the new map is set to go into place.
If justices strike down the state legislative maps, they will head back to the Ohio Redistricting Commission.
The new map was approved by state republicans in September.
