Mail about warranty program from Youngstown Water Department is authentic
The Youngstown Water Department will mail their 52,000+ customers about enrolling in a warranty program over the next few weeks. The department said they have received calls asking if the mailing was authentic.
Over 52,000 customers who receive their water from the Youngstown Water Department will be mailed information regarding a service line warranty program sometime in the next several weeks.
Water Commissioner Harry Johnson said that customers have been calling the department questioning if the information was authentic and from the city entity.
The Water Department partnered with Service Line Warranties of America to offer the warranty protection. Johnson added that the mailing will include an application for interested customers to sign up for the service.
