State Police investigate cow shot at Mercer County farm

EAST LACKAWANNOCK TOWNSHIP. Pa. - Police are looking for whoever shot a cow at a rural farm in Mercer County.
State police were called by the game commission Tuesday afternoon after the cow was shot in the abdomen and shoulder as it grazed in a field along North Hope Mill Road in East
Police say the cow was struck by small-caliber bullets, possibly a .22.
The owner of the cow, a 70-year-old farmer, estimates that loss at more than $1,000.
