Youngstown police investigating homicide on city's south side

Youngstown Police are investigating a homicide that happened late Friday night.
According to the release, police were called to the area of East Earle Avenue and Erie Street around midnight.
Officers on scene saw a car parked in the middle of the road and found a 30-year-old white male that was shot inside.
Police say the man was unconscious when they found him.
He was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown where he later died from his wounds.
YPD detectives and crime scene workers began a night-long investigation which is still ongoing as of this writing.
An arrest has not been made in connection to the case at this point.
