Warren police execute warrant against man for allegedly raping a minor for 'some time'

Warren Police have arrested a man for allegedly raping a minor.
Officers executed a warrant against 56-year-old Mark Reese on Wednesday following a month of gathering evidence. A detective said the department had spoken with a number of witnesses and decided there was enough proof to take Reese into custody.
He has been charged with one count of first degree rape—a felony. Reese could face between three and 10 years in prison, plus a fine of up to $20,000 if found guilty.
The victim is now 13-years-old, but the alleged rape occurred for some time, an investigator said. As of Thursday afternoon, the victim is reportedly safe from any contact with Reese.
Reese is currently being held in the Trumbull County Jail on $150,000 bond and will be arraigned on December 28 in Judge Thomas Gysegem's courtroom.
An officer said a full investigation into Reese's supposed actions is ongoing.
