Car crashes into Boardman apartment

A fire rescue squad and ambulance were dispatched to a Boardman neighborhood early Tuesday to investigate a report that a car had crashed into a building.
A caller to 9-1-1 reported that the driver was unconscious after the crash into an apartment at East Huntington Drive and Pheasant Drive shortly after 4:30 a.m.
Crews arrived to find the car was inside the apartment.
Shortly after 5 a.m., first responders had rescued a woman from the car and transported her to the hospital for treatment of injures that authorities say are no serious.
Two people who were sleeping upstairs when the car crashed into the apartment's living room were not injured.
The Red Cross has been contacted to help the apartment residents with any needs they may have.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
