CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ohio Lottery players have the chance to ring in the new year with a whole lot of cash going into 2022.

Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots combine to a total of $704 million with Powerball having a $483 million jackpot with a cash option of $347.7 million and Mega Millions having a $221 million jackpot with a cash option of $159.6 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on October 22, 2021 and the Powerball jackpot has been rolling since October 4. 

Mega Millions and Powerball tickets are both $2 each. Players can purchase the Megaplier for Mega Millions and Power Play for Powerball for $1 more for a chance to multiply on non-jackpot prices.

Powerball drawings are held on Mondays Wednesdays and Saturdays with the next one being held on Saturday, Jan 1. Mega Millions Drawings are held Tuesdays and Saturdays with the next drawing being held Friday, Dec. 31.
