With an intense and dramatic 34-31 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cincinnati Bengals took the AFC North Division title for the first time since 2015. The Bengals win, paired with a Los Angeles Chargers 34-13 win over the Denver Broncos, ended the Cleveland Browns (7-8) chances at the playoffs. Cleveland has officially been eliminated.

Cleveland needed a Broncos upset win for even a slim chance at the playoffs following Cincinnati's division-clinching win.

The Steelers can't afford a loss either, as Pittsburgh's only path to the playoffs is via a wild card berth. They'll have to beat Cleveland Monday night and beat the Baltimore Ravens on the road next week, plus get some help. They also need the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14) to pull off an upset win next weekend against the Indianapolis Colts (9-7).

The top seven teams in the AFC make the playoffs. Ahead of the Steelers are:

8 - Oakland Raiders (9-7)

10 - Baltimore Ravens (8-8)

11 - Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7-1)

Cleveland Browns (7-8) - Eliminated

Miami Dolphins (8-8) - Eliminated

Denver Broncos (7-9) - Eliminated

Though the Browns are out of the playoff hunt, Monday night's game still carries weight. Pittsburgh's 18-year veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said last week it could be his final home game at Heinz Field and that "all signs" were pointing to it.

Cleveland would love to play spoiler to the quarterback that has a 25-3-1 record all-time against the Browns.

For Roethlisberger, it could be fitting that his final home game could be a win over a team he's dominated throughout his tenure in the Black & Gold.
