Vehicle identified in serious Bristolville hit skip crash

The vehicle involved in a serious hit skip crash in Bristolville has been identified.
According to a news release from OSP, the hit skip vehicle is believed to be a 2011 Ford F-150 that sustained front end damage.
The crash has resulted in injuries in two victims with both being taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Trumbull County OSP tells 21 News that the crash resulted in the injury of two people on a battery-powered Groffdale Machine scooter.
One victim was flown to University Hospital in Cleveland with serious, life-threatening injuries and another was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened early Friday evening on Corey Hunt Rd. north of Housel Craft Rd. OSP tells 21 News they were alerted of the crash at approximately 5:48 p.m.
The two victims were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene heading north.
A male victim called Trumbull Dispatch and claimed he could not feel his bottom half and that he believed his hip was broken and "bleeding a lot."
The crash is currently under investigation by OSP.
