CANFIELD, Ohio - What’s being billed as a “sure cure for cabin fever” in the Valley is moving to a new location this year.

Organizers have announced that the Hunting and Fishing Super Show will be held at the Canfield Expo Center on the Canfield Fairgrounds on February 4,5, and 6, 2022.

Formerly held at the Metroplex in Liberty Township, planners say more than 100 exhibitors will be selling goods to fishing, hunting, and boating enthusiasts.

Hunting and fishing seminars are planned.

 Cabela’s national walleye champion, Sam Cappelli will get anglers geared up for spring walleye. Dan Elko, a nationally known crappie angler, writer, and President of the Northeast Ohio Crappie Anglers will hold a seminar on crappie fishing.

 Raffles include charter trips, hunting trips, and door prizes included in the price of admission.

There’s a chance to win a trip to Alaska, Lake Erie Charter, Guided Steelhead and Catfishing trips plus a day of gobbler hunting with Rick Henninger and a coyote trip with Tom Bechtal.

Live animals with Heather Merit's ‘Birds of Prey' will be up close and in person.

There will be a free fishing reel on Saturday for the first 100 children accompanied by an adult.

 Saturday provided by the Trumbull Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs when accompanied by an adult.

Admission is $7 for adults and children under 12 are free.

The hours are Friday, 12 noon to 6 pm.; Saturday 10am-6pm. and Sunday 10 am-5 pm.
