A verdict has been reached Thursday afternoon in the case of two 25-year-old men accused of killing a couple and their three-month-old infant.

Shaiquon Sharpe and Taquashon Ray were found guilty of aggravated murder, obstructing justice, improperly discharging a firearm and having weapons under disability.

Sharpe and Ray were arrested in 2018 after a triple homicide resulting in the deaths of 19-year-old Valarcia Blair, 21-year-old Edward Morris, and three-month-old Tariq Morris.

Morris was on Pasadena Avenue along with Blair and their three-and-a-half-month-old baby on a November night in 2018 when their car was riddled with bullets.

Youngstown detectives suspect the older Morris was the target possibly because of an ongoing feud or argument. Family members say they were told more than 30 shots were fired at the victims.

Sharpe and Ray were indicted in November of 2019, both suspects face life without parole.
