CPR Cell Phone Repair celebrated new ownership of the business with a ribbon-cutting last week.

Barb Carlson and her team became owners back in October.

While purchasing the Niles location, they also purchased CPR Cell Phone Repair in Hermitage and in Boardman.

Since taking over, Bard has changed the entire vision of CPR.

"I want my employees to give the customer their full attention. I want them to ask them questions and treat them like I would want to be treated in a retail environment," said Carlson.

Before CPR, barbed worked as a pharmacist and knew her customers by their first name and made them feel welcomed. Since becoming an owner, she has brought that same attitude.

At CPR, they do various services and not just cell phone repairs. They also fix laptops, drones, gaming systems, computers and other electronics.

One thing that they just started up is offering free classes on using a cell phone. According to barb, they had the first cell phone basics class last week and it was a huge hit.

CPR plans to do either Monthy or quarterly basic phone classes. The next class will be in Hermitage on February 9th.

They also plan on heading to retirement communities to do in-person classes once Covid comes down.
