Following the path of the storm through the Valley

We started in Mahoning County, where in Craig Beach, Scott Wilcox knew what he was in for.
"This was one of the bigger ones," he said of this latest wintry blast. "They said we were going to get it and we got it!"
His neighbor across the street had to make do with a shovel, as did another trio who proved teamwork really does make the dream work.
Then it was up to Newton Falls where we found Nathan Lewis trying to free his car from the snow - again.
"I was going to pick up a friend last night and I got stuck getting out of the parking lot," Lewis says. "I came over here (across the street) and got stuck right here, had to dig a path and a parking spot all the way around here and been here ever since."
The incoming storm forced both Warren city and Trumbull County offices to close early on Thursday.
After at least another half a foot of snow, Friday saw them stay closed.
Snow-covered roads still ruled throughout Warren as heavy equipment tried to get it out of drivers' ways.
Following the heart of the storm farther northeast into Cortland, we found roads mostly just wet; others a bit tougher but still easily passable.
"They usually do a pretty decent job keeping up around here," said Mike Mannella, who we found keeping up his corner of the neighborhood with a snowblower.
"Going into work yesterday was a mess cause I work midnights," he said. "The last snowstorm they didn't get to it until around noon, but this time it seems to be a lot better."
And with two snowstorms in three weeks, we've all gotten plenty of practice.
