CANTON, Ohio - Former 2016 Campaign Manager and Senior Counselor to former President Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway (pictured below) has endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Jane Timken according to an announcement from Timken on Monday.

In addition, Conway will be joining Timken's campaign as a senior strategist.

Conway described Timken as a "true MAGA champion who was there for President Trump in 2016 and throughout his presidency when many others, including her opponents hid or stayed on the sidelines."

"In a field of clickbait candidates, celebrities and rich guys trying to buy this election, Jane stands out as the thoughtful leader, mom on a mission and problem-solver lady ready to tackle the issues facing Ohio," Conway said.

Timken says she's honored to have the support and guidance from Conway heading into the most crucial part of her campaign.

"Kellyanne's strategic insights and leadership helped support President Trump's incredible success for this country, and she will be an important team member in the fight to protect that progress and reverse the destruction of the radical left," Timken said.

Timken has previously received over 180 endorsements from grassroots conservative candidates in Ohio, as well as endorsements from House GOP Conference Chair, Elise Stefanik, South Dakota Governor, Kristi Noem and conservative women's groups, VIEWPAC, Maggie's List and Winning for Women.
