GROVE CITY, Pa. - A bank has been cited by police for repeated false alarms at its branch in Grove City.
According to Grove City Police, officers were dispatched to the PNC drive-thru on West Main Street last week for what turned out to be a false alarm activation.
Police say it was the sixth alarm activation over the past 12 months.
According to court records, PNC has been cited for the alarms four times this month.
A spokesperson for PNC told 21 News on Wednesday that the bank has identified the root cause of the repeated false alarms, calling it “an isolated issue”.
A statement from the bank says PNC is working to resolve the issue and that all other alarms at the branch are working properly.
