Sharon mother tragically struck by truck now home with family

After enduring life-threatening injuries leading her through weeks of rehabilitation and physical therapy, 33-year-old Stephanie Tubb of Sharon is finally back home as she continues to heal.
Tubb lost her legs after she was tragically hit by a truck while walking to work.
"It's overwhelming. I see the good in people," Tubb said, "I've never had people help me like I had during this experience."
Strength, perseverance, and determination are just a few words to describe Tubb, a supermom of three.
Tubb said when she first saw her kids after being away from them for weeks, "I cried...I cried...and the little one just came and laid on me for a good ten minutes."
"My son sees and he's starting to ask questions, and then it breaks my heart when he asks me because I don't know what to say except that mommy doesn't have legs no more."
It's challenging and painful to adjust her life in her two-story house without being able to walk, at least for now, but she's working hard to push through with her husband's support and the love from her kids.
"He has to carry me up and down the steps so when it's ready for bed, we get the kids up there, and then he has to carry me up and then carry me back down in the mornings," she said, "It hurts... I just want to be able to sit up, walk, get up... get to my kids... be able to do something on my own and not rely on people."
Stephanie hopes to gather enough financial means to afford high-quality prosthetic legs as soon as possible.
For now, she said she will be getting a ramp donated to her, but there are only so many changes she can make in her current house.
Her husband Nathanial said he hopes one day to build a new ranch-style home in the country that's easier for her to navigate.
"Steph... she's very strong and determined," he said, "I know her life will be better... we just have to rebuild again."
