MESOPOTAMIA TWP., Ohio - A one-vehicle accident temporarily shut down an intersection in Trumbull County early Monday.

911 dispatchers were told that the vehicle went off Route 87 at Combs Road shortly after 6 a.m.

Two people were in the vehicle.

Rescue squads from Mesopotamia and Middlefield were called to the scene. However, state troopers report no one was injured.

First responders closed the intersection while the accident was being investigated.

The road has since been reopened.
