DeWine takes reelection campaign to Columbiana County

SALEM, Ohio - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine took his reelection campaign to Columbiana County Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Columbiana County Republican Party chairman Dave Johnson tells 21 News that DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted and his wife Fran attended a fundraiser Tuesday evening at the Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton.
Also attending were other GOP Party leaders from Northeast Ohio who support DeWine.
During breakfast at Heggy’s Confectionary in Salem early Wednesday, DeWine was joined by city officials from Salem as well as Columbiana County elected officials.
DeWine’s entourage then toured the county’s Sustainable Opportunity Center on Pennsylvania Avenue in Salem. The opportunity center helps create economic development in Salem and Columbiana County.
Last week, state GOP leaders endorsed DeWine's candidacy.
