Ice blamed for Trumbull County power outages
FirstEnergy says ice-covered tree branches fell on power lines early Monday, knocking out electricity to nearly 1,900 customers in northern Trumbull County.

FirstEnergy says ice-covered tree branches fell on power lines early Monday, knocking out electricity to nearly 1,900 customers in northern Trumbull County.
As of 8:30 a.m. Monday, the utility reported 1,864 outages in eight communities.
The most extensive outages were in Bloomfield, Mesopotamia, and Bristol Townships where three-fourths of the homes and businesses were without power.
A FirstEnergy representative told 21 News that the number of outages had been reduced to 625 in Bristol Township by 9:30 a.m.
Power was restored by 10:30 a.m.
