Two Hubbard athletes make college choices


The senior class at Hubbard High School will have at least 11 athletes playing at the college level.
Two more made their commitments Thursday.
Donald Cheffo, is a 3 year letter winner for the Eagles in varsity football and played tight end and defensive line. Cheffo will be studying exercise science and along with being a member of the football team at Mount Union who is a NCAA Division 3 institution and competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference. He is pictured with his parents Don and Christina Cheffo.
Grace Basham, is a 3 year letter winner for the Lady Eagles in swimming and recently wrapped up her career in the pool. Basham, will study accounting along with being a member of the girls swimming team at Hiram who is a NCAA Division 3 institution and competes in the North Coast Athletic Conference. She is pictured with Roger and Melanie Smith.
