Hubbard & Struthers students featured in national NCAA Basketball commercial

If you plan to watch March Madness over the next couple of weeks, you'll want to keep an eye out for a TV ad featuring the Mahoning Valley.
The TV commercial created by Youngstown-based companies, Cinemanix and Clever, was not only filmed in a Youngstown business but it features two local athletes.
The national TV spot promotes Werner, the official ladder sponsor of the tournament. Werner is known for their role at the end of the game, when the winning team cuts down the net while standing atop of a Werner ladder.
"To have the opportunity to work with such a respected brand for one of the biggest sporting events in the country, is a tremendous honor and one we were proud to be a part of," Maz Mawlawi, Production Director for Cinemanix said.
The spot features Hubbard High School senior Kaden Lowe and Ronnie Leonard of Struthers. Filming took place in two locations - Hubbard High School and the soon-to-open Penguin City Beer.
"It's a joy to have these elements of the Valley, no matter how large or small, be seen on a national level in homes throughout the country," said Adrienne Sabo, Founder and Creative at Clever.
