State Wrestling: Eleven advance after first round at state meet

Eleven area wrestlers are in contention for a state championship after the first round of the state tournament.
In Division I, Jacob Ferguson (113 lbs.) and Tyler Lintner (157 lbs.) of Austintown Fitch both won their first round matches, as did Boardman's Sean O'Horo (175 lbs.).
In Division II, Beaver Local sends three onto the next round, including Jaymin Salsberry (132 lbs.), Mark Emmerling Jr. (138 lbs.), and Logan Ours (157 lbs.).
Also moving on were Dillon Smith (190 lbs.) of Poland and Stephen Marra (215 lbs.) of West Branch.
In Division III, Landen Duncan (120 lbs.)of Chalker, Ray Cmil (132 lbs.) of South Range and A.J. Coppersmith (150 lbs.) of Crestview advance to the second round.
Those who lost in the first round can work their way through the consolation bracket and finish no worse than third.
