Two Weathersfield house fires, woman rescued

WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - Investigators are looking for the cause of two house fires in Weathersfield overnight, one of which sent a person to the hospital.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to a burning home on Rupple Road where a woman was still inside a bedroom.
A bystander managed to bring the woman out of the home. She was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment. 21 News is working to learn her condition.
The flames destroyed the house, leaving little more than a handicapped ramp in front.
Just two hours before and less than two miles away, crews from the township fire department were joined by firefighters from Niles, Howland Austintown, McDonald, and Lordstown to battle flames at a home on the 2900 block of Covington Street.
The home was heavily damaged, with flames pouring through the roof. No injuries were reported.
