The Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown was the place to be for all things youth wrestling this weekend, as it was host to the Ohio Athletic Committee Grade School Wrestling State Championships.

The state-wide event began Saturday and wrapped up Sunday afternoon featuring K-6th grade wrestlers, roughly 1,300, from all across Ohio.

Four divisions made up 41 brackets, accommodating 212 total teams. Locally, 12 youth teams were at the event. Beaver Local's Noah Hurst is the DIV. III, 130 State Runner-up.
