YOUNGSTOWN - The Rotary Club of Youngstown has selected several non-profit organizations as recipients of the Club's Community Grant Program.

The rotary club granted $25,000 between 6 Valley agencies.

The grants will be awarded to:

- United Returning Citizens, $10,000 for operational support of monthly workshops.
- Action, Inc., $3,000 to produce a brochure to promote their Mahoning Valley Mobile Market initiative.
- Down Syndrome Association of the Valley, $3,000 to support two sessions with five athletes each.
- Sight for all United, $3,000 to support 14 follow-up eye exams for Youngstown City School students.
- OH WOW! Roger & Gloria Jones Center for Science & Technology, $3,000 for 25 Youngstown City School students to attend a Pixar 8-week program.
- Yellow Brick Place, $3,000 to help purchase fundraising software.

"We are so pleased that we are able to offer this opportunity to local non-profit organizations", said Josh Prest, Rotary Club of Youngstown President. "Rotary Club of Youngstown continues to be an organization of service above self and is proud to be able to support the local community."

The awards and grant money will be presented at a luncheon later this week.
