Another lucky driver got their hands on $15,000 for going the extra mile at Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown.

The drawing is put on yearly as a partnership between The United Way of Youngstown and Greenwood Chevrolet, rewarding those that donate to the United Way campaigns throughout the year.

The winner of the chunk of cash was Colleen Dattilio who works for the Trumbull County Metropolitan Housing Authority.

She says she has been a donor to the United Way for several decades and is always willing to give back.

"MY HUSBAND AND I ARE VERY FORTUNATE AND WE ARE A COUPLE THAT BELIEVES THAT YOU KNOW IF WE CAN GIVE BACK TO THOSE THAT NEED IT MAY BE MORE THAN US WE'RE GONNA DO IT."

There were ten finalists in total and whoever picked the right key was the grand prize winner who either got to choose a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer or the $15,000.

"Our partnership with the United Ways of both Trumbull and Mahoning Counties has been truly incredible over the years," said Maureen McCowin, Sales Manager at Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown. "Greenwood is so humbled to have the opportunity to support people in our community, and honor individuals who give so much of themselves."

All donors of $260 or more during 2021, at least $5 per week, are qualified for one chance in the drawing to win the car.

The 2021 Extra Mile Giveaway is a joint campaign incentive made possible by Greg Greenwood and Greenwood Chevrolet for both the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley and the United Way of Trumbull County.

Dattilio says she plans to donate the money to other Valley organizations that help those that need it most.
