HUBBARD TWP., Ohio - Hubbard Township Trustees met during a special meeting Thursday morning to discuss possible uses for the American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds that were allocated to the township.

Among the ideas pitched were improvements to the PA system and video streaming upgrades for town hall, new laptops, computers and communication system upgrades for the police department, and a new mower and loader for the road department.

Trustee Rick Hernandez told 21 News that other upgrades to the town hall including security cameras, more lighting and record storage were also discussed.

While the listed uses were discussed, a vote on them did not take place.

Hernandez said a vote could take place on these items at their next trustee meeting on April 11.
