As the car was traveling along 533 Franklin Street in Sandy Lake on Saturday, police say she grabbed the steering wheel and tried to turn it three times during an argument with the 29-year-old male driver.
The report says Smith also struck the driver, breaking his nose.
Smith was arraigned on charges of assault, harassment, endangering children, and driving under the influence.
According to court records, Smith’s blood alcohol content was .16% or greater.
