The Greenwood Family, of Greenwood Chevrolet, donated $50,000 to the Youngstown Business Incubator to support the diversity of ideas, technologies, and leaders that will help build future business opportunities for the Mahoning Valley.

The donation will be used to enhance current programming for startups and entrepreneurs at YBI.

"Every day, entrepreneurs come through our doors with a variety of needs," says Barb Ewing, CEO of Youngstown Business Incubator. "The Greenwood's support helps us meet those needs. We are so grateful for the leadership and generosity they have shown us."

The tour consisted of YBI's main building, housing the Tech, Minority, Women, and Youth Entrepreneurship programs, and Tech Block Building 5 (formerly the Vindicator building), housing a number of additive manufacturing companies and 3D printers.

"Our family is so pleased to have played such a small role in supporting the great work that the YBI team is doing for our community in keeping hope and progress alive for our children, our forward-thinking entrepreneurs, and our city and region," says Greg Greenwood, President at Greenwood Chevrolet.

YBI is developing The Xperience, a program that will introduce students to different opportunities using Augmented and Virtual Reality technologies in an effort to overcome the underrepresentation of minorities in the STEM disciplines.

"The progress, momentum, and capabilities that YBI has been able to grow in perhaps their core constituency of 3D printing and additive manufacturing is incredible to see. Trust me the future is alive and well in Youngstown."
