Warren Jefferson Pk-8 School students have been evacuated Wednesday afternoon. 

"We received a message at the building that was threatening nature at the Jefferson pre-K through eight school," school superintendent Steve Chiaro told 21 News. "In following with our safety protocols we evacuated the Jefferson students by bus to another school location along with their teachers and administrators while the Warren police conduct there on site investigation. At this time the building has been cleared the students will be returned safely and we anticipate a regular dismissal."

Warren Police confirmed they are investigating an incident at the district. 

No other information was immediately confirmed.
